Fox Spirit Books has kindly donated digital copies of Weird Noir to Gutter-A-Go-Go Raids Again, The Cultural Gutter’s fundraiser to keep The Cultural Gutter online and paying writers after we lost our funding. There’s just over 10 days left to contribute.
Chloë Yate’s “A Kick In The Head” is available in its entirety, if you’d like a sample of Weird Noir. I’ve also excerpted a paragraph from the same story.
In other valuable book perks, Drew Davidson from Carnegie-Mellon University’s ETC Press has offered us a deal on The Cultural Gutter, so we’re offering print copies, which include all of EJ Lee’s amazing infographic illustrations.
And Evan Munday has donated 5 signed copies of his illustrated young adult novel, The Dead Kid Detective Agency: Au Revoir, Mr. O’Shea. Read a full excerpt here and a little screen grab of it here:
Evan has also donated 5 sexy supervillain drawings we’re offering in the form of a postcard set: Magneto, Lex Luthor, Red Skull, Mr. Freeze and a truly disturbing Doc Ock.
Finally, I’ve donated some Cthulhu Moleskines, Metaluna Mutant Moleskines, papier maché skulls painted with facial hair and, soon, some homunculi/shabtis to the cause. So please check out our indiegogo campaign and consider donating to it!
