Carol: Creepy
Kate Laity Innit though? Creepy as hell. Sure, he was a clown, but…
C: But he was my partner, and when your partner is shot, you’re supposed to do something about it.
K: Hopefully what you do about it isn’t laugh. Clowns hate laughter.
C: They die so funny, though…
K: A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer down your pants…if only he hadn’t dressed as a peanut…
C: it’s all balloons and confetti and then, bang, and the show’s over.
(a short fiction written with Kate Laity on May 24, 2013 on the facebook post revealing Noir Carnival‘s final cover).

Stop clowning around! It’s ART, Dammit. :o)
Thanks!
The artwork is visually striking and weirdly beautiful.
I didn’t even know I was writing…
I only realized it subsequently.
So pleased you like the cover & find it inspiring – I’m dying to read the innards!
